2012 Matthias Müller Bopparder Hamm Riesling Feinherb Alte Reben

Distinct Mildly Sweet Mittelrhein Riesling with Ripe Peach & Bright Fruit

The special terroir and age of the vines give this riesling its distinct profile. The term “alte reben” on the label denotes the older vines that produced the grapes for this wine. It has a brilliant gold appearance and presents a wide spectrum of bright fruit tones, especially ripe peaches. With a decent amount of residual sweetness and a strong acid to balance it, this wine is spectacular through its long finish. This riesling is made from grapes grown exclusively on a specific vineyard tract called the Bopparder Hamm which the VDP gives its best classification, “grand.”
