2012 Nauerth-Gnägy Pfarrwingert Chardonnay Trocken

Wonderfully Complex Chardonnay with Honey, Fruit & Cream

This chardonnay shows off the broad range of international varietals the winery Nauerth-Gnägy can grow in their extreme southern Pfalz vineyards. It was grown exclusively in the vineyard tract called Pfarrwingert. Oak fermentation and intensive yeast contact give this wine it’s simply fantastic complexity. It is clean with tones of light honey, peach yogurt, light brioche, light vanilla, mineral, fruit and florals. Though chardonnay is not a traditional German varietal, this wine was so good we had to include it!
