2012 Hans Bausch Hattenheimer Wisselbrunnen Riesling Spätlese Edelsüss

Sweet Late Harvested Rheingau Riesling with Wide Fruit Tones

This Rheingau spätlese riesling is divinely drinkable thanks to its low 7.5% alcohol. Its nice balance of sweetness and acidity enhances the wide fruit tones that leave the tongue only after a long finish. This wine is made from grapes grown on a specific vineyard tract known as the Hattenheimer Wisselbrunnen which is a specific vineyard tract in the Rheingau that the VDP gives the highest classification, “grand.” Try this wine with crème brûlée, crêpes suzette or other sweet desserts.
